Maryland Relocation

Moving to Maryland: Proper Tax Return Preparation

The ongoing BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) movement for military bases requires many businesses and individuals to relocate to Harford County and Cecil County from their previous work assignments outside of Maryland. Harford County is a rapidly growing area as a result.

Relocating to a new State has its unique income tax issues. There will usually be two State income tax returns to file for the year of the move. There are also moving expenses, and the issues of selling and purchasing your home/personal residence may be deducted.

BLRR would like very much to be of service to our new neighbors.

If you or your family have recently relocated to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) or anywhere in Maryland, please call us for a free relocation tax consultation.

We will do our part to make your transition to life here in Harford or Cecil County as pleasant as possible.
