Brian Lutters graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University in Maryland with a B.A. degree and a double major in Accounting and Economics, in 1983.

He passed the CPA exam in 1983, earning the Elijah Watts Sells Award With High Distinction on that exam.

He has worked continuously in public accounting since and began working in Bel Air in 1985.

Brian specializes in estate and trust planning and compliance, probate accounting, gift tax planning and compliance, tax planning and compliance for individual taxpayers, and in particular, in planning for the bargain sale of agricultural preservation easements.

Brian also administers a number of trusts, and has on occasion served as the personal representative of client estates.

Brian is a past chair of the State Tax Committee of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and has testified extensively before committees of the Maryland General Assembly concerning proposed tax legislation.

He previously served as treasurer of the Community Outreach Center, Inc., a faith-based nonprofit aimed at bringing welfare recipients into the workforce.

Brian resided in Harford County from age 4 until early 2012, when he moved just over the border to Delta, PA.

He works actively in several roles at Faith Community Chapel in Delta, PA, and serves on the Delta Borough Council.
